The FMZIII, now with 40 kW

TANAKA America has a new product: the FMZIII 40 kW Bevel Fiber Laser. It is the 40 kW version of our FMZIII gantry bevel fiber laser, built to cut thicker plate, cut faster and bevel thicker plate than 20 kW.

This part is 2" (50 mm) plate with a 45° bevel. Many people would take that edge for plasma. It's a laser cut on the FMZIII 40 kW.

It comes off the table ready to weld, with no grinding or secondary prep.
